Content[part of the letter written by Ch. Martinů:] ----

[part of a letter written by B. Martinů:] In New York the pace of life is too fast, but Bohuslav Martinů lives almost the same way as in Paris. BM teaches at Princeton, composes and tries to make the most of life. He often thinks of the Southwest. JZ has a letter to write about himself, possibly to see if he needs paint or coffee sent. BM came back from his visit to Paris with mixed feelings - people have changed, perhaps in CSR too. BM's health is finally better, and he is in better spirits than he has been for the last two years. They send New Year's greetings.
