Content and physical description
ContentBM explains his difficulties with the Authors' Protective Association (OSA), which was going to expel him from its association because he had given his copyright to several entities at the same time [See Jan Kunec's letter to BM dated 14 May 1932] BM objects to this action by the OSA and sees no reason for it. Although he was forced to subcontract all his rights to the publisher, the OSA was personally informed of this and raised no objections. BM has discussed this with its director Cejka. BM is taken aback by OSA's swift action against him and is aggravated that he has not had sufficient time from OSA to respond to the objections against him. He does not know which compositions specifically are affected by this misconduct on his part, citing only Bagarre [La Bagarre, H.155]. He has not now had the opportunity to contact its publisher [Leduc] and make arrangements with him. He will be in Prague in a month [June 1932] and intends to explain everything to OSA in person. He is not aware of any offence against OSA except the issue of mechanical rights, but he states this as irrelevant as these compositions are not registered.
