Content and physical description
Content[only the parts concerning Martinů are selected from the whole letter in the regest] Will Firkušnmý and Martinů also be invited to the first year of the Prague Spring? Martinů will be taking a course at Kusevicky's summer school at Tanglewood and would have to get an official invitation. Martinů is not thinking of a definite return until August, although he is unhappy that he still has no official confirmation from Prague.
For the Encyclopedia Americana, Löwenbach is to correct the entries on Smetana, Dvorak and Fibich and write 10 new entries on Czech composers. He selected Foerster, Janáček, Novák, Suk, Ostrchil, Martinů, Karel, Křička, Nejedlý and Helfert. What about Hába? Bartoš is to advise him on the selection.
