ContentKarl Vötterle writes to Hermann Wedekind, director of the Basler Stadttheater, that Bohuslav Martinů has given his publishing house a new opera, LA LOCANDIER. From Paul Sacher, KV learned that the Basler Stadttheater was ready to premiere the opera. Bärenreiter would like to publish the opera, but he still has some basic problems - proofreading the Italian text and making and attaching the German translation.
The KV also asks to send materials that the theatre claims to have: the libretto in FR and IT, the piano extract, the score. KV proposes to premiere the opera in Prague and Munich. He is waiting for the Basler Stadttheater to comment.
