Content and physical description

Content	Karl Vötterle addresses the addressee as "Tim" [this may be W. Timaeus - ed. note]. Preparation of orchestral material PARABOL: The voices will be transcribed by Mr Vogel in Basel, he has promised to start with the strings, the transcription will be on transparency paper. "Tim" is also to inform the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the NYC branch of the Bärenreiter. Originally, Parabolas was to be published by Schott, but here production was delayed and the original premiere could not take place. On the opera [MIRANDOLINA]: a Basel premiere is probably not the best solution, the KV is considering publishing the libretto in German and would like to organize premieres in several European countries simultaneously. The Bohuslav Martinů manuscripts received from Paul Sacher will be taken from Bonn to Kassel by Dr. Richard Baum; the KV still has to continue from Bonn to Kiel.
