Content	L. Novák is happy that Šafránek is in Paris again and hopes that he will have time for walks in addition to writing. He has been retired for over a year now; American technical progress has been too fast for him. They travel a lot now. He has come to the conclusion that luminescent photography is not a very attractive novelty. Any medical applications are outside his field.
