ContentHe is not entirely satisfied with his stay in Nice - it was cold BM was not in the mood to compose, and he has stomach problems again; if his problems persist, he will return to Switzerland, where he has his own doctor; he has not had good news from home - his sister is in hospital; the general is in Prague today. rehearsal for his opera [Mirandolina], tomorrow is the opening night, but BM will not be present- he knows that they might not let him go back across the border then; he gives Frances advice on how to behave in Prague so that she will not have problems, Frank will probably not go; BM and Ch. will go back to Schönenberg again; he greets his mistress and doctor.
