He sends BM an unnamed "two small pieces" for review and at the same time asks BM for his opinion on this (modern) music, as "in our country such music is condemned. It is spoken of as such very cautiously, neither yes nor no, about halfway. So it is difficult for a young person to move in such half-hearted views of the matter."
