Content and physical description
ContentAs Bohuslav Martinů knows from Marguerite Staehelin, Paul and Maja Sacher spent 10 days in New York in September. PS regrets not seeing BM. Apparently he was in the country.
PS encloses an article by Willi Schuh from Zurich, intended for the booklet on 25 years of the Basel Chamber Orchestra ["25 Jahre Basler Kammerorchester"]. Does BM agree to publish it? BM is asked to mark passages in the manuscript that he does not like. M. Staehelin of the Swiss Music Library in New York will help with understanding the German text, PS gives the address.
PS read a review of the addressee's new concerto for two violins and chamber orchestra [CONCERT FOR TWO VIOLINS AND ORCHESTRA], which was performed in New York. He asks the addressee to have the score sent to him if the piece is already published.
PS and Maja Sacher greet the addressee and Charlotte Martinů.
