ContentMarie Martinů thanks Maja Sacher for her letter of 7 January. She has been very ill and is now feeling better, but has not yet gone out.
MM, following the addressee, tells Bohuslav Martinů that they received his letter of November in Polička, containing a photograph. The Christmas parcels BM had sent them from Lisbon had not been delivered. She [Karolina Martinů] is doing well for her age. The winter is particularly hard this year.
MM thanks the addressee and Paul Sacher for being willing to keep them informed from time to time.
