ContentBohuslav Martinů has not yet received a reply from Paul Sacher regarding the boat tickets. In it he asked what should be done if [he and Charlotte Martinů] were not able to sail on the date given. However, their affairs are speeding up a bit and there is still a chance that they will be able to leave on time.
BM has discovered in the last few days that he has many friends. In Geneva they have organised a collection for him at the initiative of Mr Mosser and [Henri and Blanche] Honegger. In Switzerland they received help.
BM received 1000 francs from the Morgan bank and thanks the addressees.
Mentions his birthday celebration of the previous day.
