Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů thanks Paul Sacher for his help. He has informed himself about all the formalities, but still does not know the exact information - the situation is still changing.
They [and Charlotte Martinů] already have a US visa thanks to friends in New York. He hopes to easily get permission to leave France; transit visas for Spain and Portugal are still uncertain. Does PS know of anyone who can influence the Spanish consulate in Marseille?
As for boat tickets, BM and ChM will be happy with a receipt from Lisbon confirming their purchase.
They could leave Lisbon in two months at the earliest, they will wait right there. They will leave France as soon as they receive their exit permits and visas for Spain and Portugal. BM mentions the complicated negotiations and asks to purchase two boat tickets, deposit them in L[isabon] and send a confirmation.
BM received confused information about the possibility of transporting the crates [belonging to Jean Rudolph and Nelly Louise Frey, see ID 2865]. He cannot travel to Marseille without permission. However, he will go there on Monday and write to the addressee immediately. It will probably be complicated. BM still suggests sending the boxes to a friend of his in L[isabon]; from there they could be sent directly to [Chile]. This would be a quicker option, as BM will probably not arrive in New York until December at the earliest.
Thanks for the 5,000 francs that came to him today.
He is glad for the news about the trials. He would love to hear it again. [?]
He asks about the Geneva-Lyon-Lisbon flight.
