ContentBohuslav Martinů is in Paris again. Of course, the money hasn't arrived, he is indignant, but he doesn't intend to deal with it anymore. As he has once again convinced himself, he cannot expect much from Prague. So he will sell the house in Vieux Moulin, which will be another reason to go to Europe even less. The whole affair casts a bad light on Melantrich because they do not keep their commitments to him and the contracts are only one-sided. BM received Karel Šebánek's letter of 15 August but still does not know if KS will come to Paris. There are many issues that he has to discuss personally. BM does not know how he should understand the decision to lend opera materials through the Theatre Executive, with whom he has never entered into any contract. He signed contracts with Melantrich, and only for KS, but even Melantrich does not have rights to all his theatrical stuff. KS should have sent the notes to New York, not Paris, he won't be able to take them on the plane. He'll leave the matter of the records for his return to NY. He understands that KS can't write to him about everything, especially since they need to meet and talk. She needs to write him as soon as possible to see if he is coming. He gives the address to the hotel. The question of money is no longer to be addressed, it is pointless.
