ContentBM's letter of 20.12.1945 did not please him, he understands the reasons why he does not want to return to his homeland; besides V. Novák, there is no other authority here "who would enjoy the desired wide respectability and paralyse the weight of our political and political world"; encloses a letter to M. Šafránek, asks for delivery; informs about musical events. May prepares Carmen and Faust and Margaret, new Russian music by Shostakovich, Miaskovsky and others is performed in concerts, successful performance of the conductor Mr. Walter Ducloux in the National Theatre and the Czech Philharmonic; asks if BM would be interested in composing a ceremonial march for the exercises for the next All-Sokol Congress in 1948; received a yearbook about BM from Mr. Popelka from Polička; is to come soon, at the latest for the Prague premiere of POLISH MASS (28 February and 1 March 1946); wishes him a happy trip to Europe.
