Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů completes the third - and last - movement of PARABOL. The piece lasts 24 minutes and is intended for large orchestra. He asks Charles Munch for a few details about the work's operation: how long he wants to have exclusive operating rights, which he has to arrange with his publisher (Universal Edition in Vienna), where to send the score. He says that ChM can send him a cheque, BM will then exchange the money into Swiss francs. He is still staying at the Schoenberg with the Sachers. He asks him to let him know when he plays PARABOLS in Paris, they would be happy to come. He then credits Charlotte Martinů with his wishes for the new year.
