Content and physical description
ContentCopland encloses a letter addressed to Jan Novák. He telephoned Löwenbach's wife and, on her advice, accepted Novák into a composition class at Tanglewood. They are to notify if he will be able to be present at the school. The number of students is limited, but they will hold Novák's place as long as possible. Copland regrets not being able to come to the Prague Festival and not hearing his symphony. He will be grateful to Löwenbach if he sends him the most important criticisms. He hopes that he will be able to come to Prague for the 1948 Festival.
