JL introduces himself to Nissim as a former OSA lawyer and recalls the dissolution of the association due to the political situation. He represents BM, who was expelled from OSA, now lives in New York, and since no one has cared about his copyright since the beginning of the war, he would like to become a member of ASCAP. JL encloses a biography of BM and a list of his works indicative of his activities. He asks to be sent the terms of membership.
