Content and physical description
ContentRichard Gilbert thanks Löwenbach for his interesting letter. He points out that their company (Radio Corporation of America) knows the composer BM and his popularity in America. However, due to the ban on instrumental recordings by the American Federation of Musicians on 31 July 1942, they are currently unable to do much. They have not recorded any instrumental work since then, nor do they intend to - until the ban is lifted. As for the French recording of BM's Sonata for Flute, Violin and Piano (Trio Moyse), it is not available to them - they never received the matrices and there is no possibility of obtaining them at this time. However, they are counting on Martinů and his music in their plans for the future.
