Content and physical description
ContentReading Václav Talich's letter, various memories came back to Bohuslav Martinů, which he now describes: He mainly recalls the years at the Philharmonic, where he met VT, how he imagined when writing his compositions what he would say in which place of VT, how he would conduct the work. And also mainly about the lesson VT taught him during the rehearsal of his LITTLE DANCE SUITE when he refused to do it. He apologizes for his last letter and is glad VT is not angry with him. He encourages him again that his work was definitely not in vain and that there will surely be many followers. Charlotte recalls her visit to Prague [Prague Spring 1947].
