Content and physical description
ContentSince he is unable to attend meetings of the Czech Academy, Bohuslav Martinů submits two written proposals to improve conditions for Czech composers. The first of these concerns postponing the deadline for commissioning works (especially orchestral works) so that the lengthy assessment of the score does not hinder the performance of the works. The second proposal concerns the publication of works in print. It describes the current situation in Czech music publishing and invites discussion on whether the situation could be improved. He gives his Paris address.
