ContentBM describes his plans for the holidays. She assumes that she and Frank will not meet. He explains to Frank about the Salzburg concert - that Ruda himself offered them the Incantations, but as they wanted the European premiere, which had already been promised to Edinburgh, they then chose Dvořák. Ruda was in Cannes. At the end of the month he plays in Edinburgh, then with Kubelík in London. BM makes fun of Frank the American and wishes him a nice holiday in Luhačovice.
