Content and physical description
ContentAS advised that ChM, as BM's sole heir, had become a member of their society and had appointed him personally to protect its interests. He (Roe Barstow) further advises her that if BM's letters are published or in any way made available to the public without the author's permission (after his death without the permission of the heir - i.e. ChM) she may be prosecuted under the occasional and criminal law. She does not know what her intentions are with the correspondence she has received, but as a lawyer she has a duty to bring these facts to her attention. ChM will not give permission for the publication of their correspondence. He begs her to respond and hopes that these letters remain what they are - highly personal communications.
