ContentAlfred Schlee hoped that Bohuslav Martinů would come to Venice to see him. He stresses that they would be very happy to establish a working relationship with him again. He has heard that BM intends to come to Europe next year and stay for a longer period. He asks him to send them his next work for smaller orchestra, preferably 12-17 minutes long and with folk elements. He states the terms and the amount of royalties. They will pay him an advance when he submits the score.
Has he received the pictures from Matrei? It was very interesting in Venice.
