ContentVladimír Vaněk will not only go to Paris this time, but also to Vieux-Moulin to see Charlotte Martinů. He should arrive in Paris around 25 October and after a few days he could move to Vieux-Moulin, he asks about the trip. Will ChM be there at the end of October? He [and his wife] could visit her in Paris, of course. VV gives Jaroslav Trnka's Paris address, where ChM should possibly send letters to VV after 24 October.
Jan Novák from Brno visited them with his wife, Eliška Nováková. They are nice. JN could not use the traveler's check from ChM, because it was in her name.
The lecture on Bohuslav Martinů in New York (read by Mr. Lexa) was a great success, VV was getting reports about it from all sides.
