ContentVladimír Vaněk thanks Charlotte Martinů for her letter of 30 April. He mentions how hectic his May was.
He is glad for the news from her and that she has found a suitable place to live in her native country. This is everyone's dream, even Bohuslav Martinů wished for it.
VV suggests to the addressee that he will visit her with Bedřich Janáček, who can help her with her sheet music after BM. BJ is an honest man and a good friend.
VV strongly urges the addressee not to give the material to Miloš Šafránek for sorting. She refers to him as a hyena and believes that BM is acting in a selfish manner. He recalls how the MC was at his brother's house in Prague, which he wrote about in a previous letter.
VV has heard that ChM has been to Prague once before, specifically last year. Too bad he didn't know about it, otherwise he would have asked her to say hello to his brother and bring BM's stuff there. Everything should be centered at ChM's now that she has her own house.
VV mentions his heart attack in March.
He would like to meet [Margrit?] Weber in Rome. Unfortunately he is often in Castiglione himself.
Anna-Lisa Vankova and Mira [Vanek-Schejbal] say hello.
