Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů writes to Ernest Roth that the original plan for the trip to Europe had to be changed due to Washington passport laws. He is now in Basel and will probably stay in Switzerland. He will not come to Paris at all. BM asks to start printing SYMPHONY No. 6, which is recorded with Charles Munch [RCA Victor] and thanks to that there is now a great demand for the score. BM asks if a pocket score will also be printed. BM adds the address on which he is now with Rebers: Rennweg 73 Basel. BM adds a Czech note at the end of the letter: "it’s a headache".
