ContentErnest Roth responds to the letter of December 6 [BH 1957-12-06]. Thanks for dealing with COMEDY ON THE BRIDGE. He does not want to do anything with Lamparilla [zarazuela by Spanish composer Francisco Asenjo Barbieri, in english El barberillo de Lavapiés] in the current version, he still plans to thoroughly revise the music and text. He had already worked on the music arrangements, but had not yet had the opportunity to discuss the matter in detail with the librettist and thoroughly revise the libretto.
