Content and physical description
ContentGertrude Smith replies to the letters dated 26 February and 7 April. Boosey & Hawkes will probably own the rights to Bohuslav Martinů’s SERENADE FOR TWO CLARINETS, VIOLIN, VIOLA AND CELLO, which was premiered in January by Joseph Fuchs. It will also be performed at the festival in Aspen, Colorado. It is a work different to the “Serenade for Three Violins and Two Clarinets” [perhaps she means SERENADE NO. 1 IN A MINOR].
