Content and physical description
ContentThey have received the scores of the PARTITA, SONATA NO. 2 as well as the female choruses [CZECH RHYMES]. When it comes to the female choruses, they regret that the text is almost untranslatable. Bohuslav Martinů should try to get the work issued by Czech publishers. They will be pleased to publish PARTITA. As for the Sonata, for the time being, they will lay it aside. The CONCERTO FOR VLC AND ORCH. NO. 1 will perform Gaspar Cassadó with an orchestra on 11 December at Berlin Radio at 9.30 p.m. (10.30 p.m. in Paris). They have sent the scores of the SERENADE to Sergej Koussevitzky and Leopold Stokowski through American representatives at The Associated Music Publishers, Inc. New York. Willi Strecker must make an unscheduled trip to Berlin, the trip to Paris has been delayed by a few days.
